The non-standard oil cylinder's piston cylinder and plunger cylinder achieve reciprocating linear motion, output speed, and thrust. The swing cylinder achieves reciprocating swinging, outputting angular speed (velocity) and torque. Besides being used once, hydraulic cylinders can be combined in two or more ways or integrated with other mechanisms. Hydraulic cylinders are hydraulic actuators that convert hydraulic energy into mechanical energy and perform linear reciprocating motion (or swinging motion). They have a simple structure and reliable operation. When used to achieve reciprocating motion, they can avoid speed reduction devices, have no transmission gaps, and ensure smooth motion. Therefore, they are widely used in various mechanical hydraulic systems. The output force of a hydraulic cylinder is proportional to the effective area of the piston and the pressure difference on both sides. A hydraulic cylinder is mainly composed of a cylinder barrel and cylinder head, piston and piston rod, sealing device, buffering device, and exhaust device. The buffering and exhaust devices depend on specific applications, while other devices are essential. The structure of hydraulic cylinders is diverse, and their classification methods are also varied: based on their motion modes, they can be divided into linear reciprocating motion and rotary swinging motion.
